My family and I are always eating at Mom's Kitchen. Today, my mom and I stopped by and had lunch. Their lobster bisque was fresh and creamy and their chicken salad was fantastic! I accidentally left my retainers there and the staff held on to them for me, which was awesome as I've had them be thrown out before. My mom loves their BLTs and my step-dad likes their hot open-faced sandwiches. The food is fresh, the service is good, and the prices can't be beat! Really a gem in the area!

Nice little restaurant right near the Blue Ridge highway entrance. Great food, good prices. Fancy electronic ordering by the waitress. Many food options. Entrance is around the side. This was in Oct, 2025. P.S. the Parkway is a $30 fee, unless you got the Fed Parks Pass.

No curb appeal but don't let that stop you. My wife and I travel a lot and always seek out small independent restaurants. This did not disappoint. Good food. Fast friendly service. Great prices. Loaded with local folks which is always a good sign.
